TYPICAL ITINERARY

Bridgetown, Barbados
Barbados has retained many of the trappings of its British colonial heritage. Judges and barristers wear proper robes and wigs, police don helmets styled after London bobbies and cricket remains a national passion. Barbados also has all the sporting appeal of the rest of the Caribbean, with pristine beaches, powerful surf and crystal clear waters. Brightly colored homes and hibiscus flowers mingle with mahogany trees and English churches dating back to the 17th century.

Port Elizabeth, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Port Elizabeth is the main village on the island of Bequia, located about 161 km’s west of Barbados and 98 km’s south of St. Lucia. The 16 sq km island is part of the republic of St.Vincent & the Grenadines in the Lesser Antilles. The main port Admiralty Bay and Port Elizabeth are situated on the leeward coast. The bay is a large natural harbour, so there are always yachts anchored at the beaches lining it.

Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia
Rodney Bay is a bay on Saint Lucia; it is along the northwestern coast of the island to the north of Choc Bay. At Rodney Bay you can climb aboard the brig Unicorn, used in the film Pirates of the Caribbean and see the west side of the island by sea from her decks.

Deshaies, Guadeloupe
A picturesque village on the Basse-Terre “wing” of Guadeloupe’s butterfly-shaped island. Deschaies is a place where gingerbread cottages, lush tropical greenery and a glittering bay embody all that’s sweetest of life in the Antilles. The botanical garden displays over 200 varieties of local plants.

St. John's, Antigua
Shop on Redcliffe and Heritage Quays in Antigua's capital, sunbathe on one of 365 beaches, or visit historic Nelson's Dockyard, a splendid renovation which houses quaint shops, restaurants and a museum.

Saba, Netherlands Antilles
Saba is one of the smallest islands of the Dutch Antilles. It is a quiet, secluded island, which is actually an extinct volcano with no beaches or flat land. It is covered in lush foliage and under the sea, the volcanic walls continue a sheer drop to great depths, making for some of the most panoramic diving in the Caribbean. The famous Saba Marine Park is second to none.

Prickly Pear Island, British Virgin Islands
The lovely little island of Prickly Pear gets its name for its habitat that favors this cactus species. The island is situated in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda, which is generally considered to be the island Columbus named Saint Ursula. How and when Virgin Gorda became the "Fat Virgin," no one is certain. All land over 1,000 feet high on Virgin Gorda has been designated National Park, thus preserving its natural beauty. It is also known for long, exquisite white sand beaches, including several on Prickly Pear itself, which boasts some of the BVIs' loveliest. In 1964 Laurence Rockefeller built the island's first resort hotel at Little Dix Bay, and since then Virgin Gorda has continued to grow in popularity with visitors. Weather permitting the ship makes a brief stop off Spanish Town to disembark those guests going on tour. It then repositions to anchor off Prickly Pear where the crew gets set up to treat you to a complimentary Prickly Pear beach party. A tender picks up all guests on tour at Leverick Bay to return them directly to Prickly Pear in time for this event.

Philipsburg (St. Maarten), AN
St. Maarten is one of the most rewarding stops for a cruise-ship passenger. The island is divided between French St. Martin in the north and Dutch St. Maarten in the south. Each side manages to retain its own distinct flavor. The Dutch side (Sint Maarten) is a lively destination of white sand beaches, casinos, historical sites, shopping venues and lot of nightlife. Most ships dock in Philipsburg, the capital of Dutch St. Maarten.
