TYPICAL ITINERARY

Benoa (Denpasar), Bali
Located on the southeastern coast of Bali is the small village of Tanjung Benoa. Still considered a fishing village, Benoa has developed over the past 20 years into a major player in the tourism sector. The calm waters and the beautiful white sand beaches have made Benoa the prime water sport area of Bali. Being a peninsula that is only accessible from one direction, Tanjung Benoa is still relatively quiet with a more relaxed feeling.

Lembar, Indonesia
Lembar is noticeably different than its close neighbor, Bali. The northern part of the island is mountainous and lush with tall trees and shrubs, and the south is arid and covered by savannas. Large Asian mammals are absent and replaced instead by marsupials, lizards, cockatoos and parrots. Lembar experienced strong Balinese influences, but has retained a unique identity. The indigenous people of Lembar, the Sasaks, are predominantly Muslim and have a strong, distinguished tradition. Famous for its ikat hand-woven textiles, the island has exceptional charm and is relatively undiscovered.

Celukan Bawang, Bali Indonesia
Celukan Bawang is located in northern Bali on a protected bay, approximately 40 km from the city of Singaraja. Lovina Beach is only 30 minutes from Celukan Bawang. It offers the opportunity to relax on the black sand beaches away from the crowds of southern Bali. Nearby are restaurants and boutiques. Further afield is the city of Singaraja, the second largest city of Bali. This city has the feel of an old colonial capital, with traces of both muslim and Chinese influences.

Probolinggo, Java, Indonesia
Probolinggo is a city on the north coast of East Java, Indonesia. It is a port town and is the nearest town of any size to the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. The city is also famous for its mangoes, locally called mangga manalagi. Probolinggo is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and points of natural, historical and cultural interest. These include Madakaripura Waterfall, Gili Ketapang Island, Bentar Beach, Jabung Temple and Rengganis Peak.

Surabaya, Indonesia
Surabaya is Indonesia's second-largest city and the capital of the province of East Java. It is located on the northern shore of eastern Java at the mouth of the Mas River and along the edge of the Madura Strait. It is a sprawling city which is modern in appearance, but also offers traces of its past. It is also a gateway for Mount Bromo and Bali.

Kura Kura, Menyawakan Indonesia
Designated as a national marine park, the Karimunjawa archipeligo is a chain of 27 small islands, including Menyawakan Island, the location of the luxurious Kura Kura Resort. Covered by coconut trees and surrounded by white sandy beaches and pristine coral reefs, snorkelers and divers come from all over Indonesia to study the marine life surrounding this enchanted island.

Semarang, Java, Indonesia
Semarang is a commercial port located roughly halfway between Jakarta and Surabaya, along Java's north central coast. Today, many of the island's most important exports, including tobacco, sugar, rubber, coffee, and cacao are shipped through Semarang. Because of its accessibility to the island's interior, it is an ideal gateway to numerous coffee plantations and the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Site of Borobudur.

Singapore
Founded as a British trading colony in 1819, Singapore joined the Malaysian Federation in 1963. Two years later, it became an independent island-state, developing into one of the world's most prosperous countries. With ultra-modern skyscrapers combined with a medley of Chinese, Indian and Malay influences, Singapore is a dynamic city rich in contrast and color, exhibiting a harmonious blend of culture, cuisine, arts and architecture.
